How Ground Screws Are Installed:

  1. Site Assessment: Our team assesses the site to determine the best ground screw model and installation method based on soil type and project requirements.

  2. Preparation: The installation area is cleared and prepared, ensuring there are no obstructions.

  3. Installation Process:

    • Drilling: Using a hand-held driver or hydraulic drive-head, the ground screw is drilled into the ground with precise downward pressure and rotation.

    • Depth Control: The screw is installed to a minimum depth of 4’ 11”, but can go deeper, leaving no more than 4” of the screw’s shaft visible above ground.

    • Compression and Friction: The rotation and downward pressure ensure maximum soil compression and friction, securing the screw firmly.

  4. Attachment: Once installed, the appropriate flange attachment is added, ready to support the structure you are building.
