Ground Screw Installation Services
Providing a fast and reliable foundation solution for a wide range of residential and commercial projects across the Front Range of Colorado – allowing construction to begin immediately after installation!
What are Ground Screws?
Ground screws are steel foundation anchors that are driven directly into the soil to create a stable, load-bearing base for structures. Installed using hydraulic drive equipment, they eliminate the need for excavation, forming, and concrete curing. Once installed, they provide immediate structural support and perform well across a wide range of soil conditions.
Ground Screw Installation Process
Ground screws are installed using hydraulic drive equipment or a hand-held driver to rotate the screw into the soil with controlled torque and downward pressure. They’re typically set to leave 2–3 inches of shaft above grade while compressing the surrounding soil to create a secure, load-bearing anchor.
-
Site Assessment
The site is evaluated to determine the appropriate ground screw model, layout, and installation method based on soil conditions and project requirements. -
Preparation
The installation area is cleared and marked to ensure proper screw placement and to avoid underground obstructions. -
